Probability

I
n Te Maunga we have been learning about Probability. In the game Horse Racing I learnt that it is fair because if you chose five you get only two squares. That is because it’s harder to get five then one. For example if you do five there is only one way to do it, six and one.

Dinorama

In Te Maunga we have been doing Dinorama. The Titanoboa is a dinosaur that is as big as a double decker bus. I think that the dinosaurs died out because of an asteroid.

Soundscape

In Te Maunga we have been doing Soundscape. We learnt that water in a bowl can make the sound of waves and people swimming. We used two containers and kitchen towels to make a sound like drums.

Kawa of Care

In Te Maunga we have been learning about Kawa of Care. We learnt that we need to not put our chromebook on the beanbag. We also learnt that we should not put water or food near the chromebook. We have to hold the chromebook with two hands.
